Come enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the Copper Spur Ranch in the Colorado mountains between Steamboat Springs and Vail! This is a perfect place to escape the city and enjoy your favorite outdoor sports, solitude in the mountains, campfires under the stars, wildflowers in bloom, and a comfortable mountain home. There will be no other guests at the ranch besides you!

• Full kitchen with gas range, oven and dishwasher
• Two bathrooms (with two showers and one tub)
• Three bedrooms (Room 1: king bed, Loft Room 2: two sets of bunk beds, Loft Room 3: two sets of bunk beds)

• Two stocked ponds for fishing rainbow and brook trout (guides available for hire) and swimming
• Miles of secluded mountain biking, hiking and horseback riding trails (bikes and horses available for rent)
• 500 yard shooting range (guns and instructor available for rent and hire)
• Very close to the Colorado River (rafting, tubing, fishing trips all available)
• Campfires under the stars overlooking the lake
• Private chef (available for additional fee)
• Wash machine and dryer

Ranch Rule = No Jerks Allowed

Note: Check-in is at 3pm on the day of arrival and check-out is at 11am the following day. Reserve the date that corresponds to the night you want to spend at the Copper Spur Ranch. Example: if you want to stay on Saturday night and check-out on Sunday morning, click to reserve the Saturday date.

Additional Info: The Copper Spur Ranch sits at an elevation between 7,600 and 9,700 feet above sea level. It backs up to BLM, national forest and other private land, some of which gets above 10,000 feet of elevation. The area offers a variety of terrain settings, various water sources, and fields that are grazed by cattle. The public land is hard to access without permission from the ranchers, whose property you must cross to pass into public territory. Only our guests have permission from the rancher to pass through the private land to get to the public access points. The entire area is part of the migration path from summer range to winter range for the elk herd.
