Specialization has allowed mankind to get really good at lots things, which has fueled economic growth. However, the downside is that few people really know basic skills that would allow them survive on their own, provide for themselves, or defend themselves in the unfortunate event where those skills are required. We've designed an all-inclusive 4 night stay in the Colorado mountains to address this knowledge gap that will be really enjoyable and informative. You'll stay at a beautiful and secluded private ranch up in the Rockies, and you'll be taught these skills by experts. You'll enjoy 1,100 acres of private land surrounded by 20,000+ acres of uninhabited public land, so you'll have solitude and no light pollution!

Note: Check-in is at 3pm on the day of arrival and check-out is at 11am. Reserve the date that corresponds to the first day you want to spend at the Copper Spur Ranch. Example: if you want to stay from Thursday (check-in) to Monday (check-out), click the Thursday date.
Additional Info: The Copper Spur Ranch sits at an elevation between 7,600 and 9,700 feet above sea level. It backs up to BLM, national forest and other private land, some of which gets above 10,000 feet of elevation. The area offers a variety of terrain settings, various water sources, and fields that are grazed by cattle. The public land is hard to access without permission from the ranchers, whose property you must cross to pass into public territory. Only our guests have permission from the rancher to pass through the private land to get to the public access points. The entire area is part of the migration path from summer range to winter range for the elk herd.
