Be prepared for a lung busting, but rewarding, ride on the beautiful roads of Colorado's front range. Start out of the historic town of Golden Colorado, ascend one of the most famous climbs in Colorado and enjoy a smooth loop back to town. This ride includes around 30 miles, +2,500 feet of elevation gain, and includes some historical stops along the way.

Bike rental can be arranged through a local bike shop, or I can pick up a bike for you for an added fee. This is an Intermediate to Advanced level ride.

Road Biking Mountain Roads

40 Mile 'Gravel' ride through one of the most scenic canyons in the front range. The 'Gravel portion of this ride is non-technical, hardened, packed dirt. The conditions are comfortable for first time gravel riders as well as more experienced riders who are looking to enjoy a stunningly beautiful ride. 

Do this ride if you’re a strong beginner (able to ride 30+ miles) / intermediate-level gravel rider who wants to do a fair amount of mileage but with minimal elevation gain with easy non-technical surfaces. There is a chance we will see some Colorado wildlife along the way!

This ride will be most comfortable on a gravel specific bike, but can also be done on a mountain or road bike with wider tires (32mm+).
